Introducing Messy Eater

…the new music and illustration project from Pete Bott, whose previous projects have been supported by NME, The Guardian, Notion and BBC Radio 1.

Drawing comparisons with Gorillaz, Beck, Talking Heads, The Flaming Lips and The Avalanches, Messy Eater combines the flavours of wry lyrical observations on modern life with irresistible hooks and a unique self-produced sound.

Growing up on a diet of mixtape culture and genre-agnostic electicism, Messy Eater lives in a world of "anything goes” melodic songwriting and kaleidoscopic sampledelica.

Now supported by BBC Introducing and Amazing Radio, the Messy Eater taste is for joyous, vibrant and celebratory sounds.

Listen to debut single ‘Feels Good’ HERE, second single ‘I’m A Mess Right Now’ HERE and third single ‘Work Life Balance’ HERE.

‘Starters’, the debut Messy Eater EP, is out now - LISTEN HERE.
